GREEN GORILLA THEATRE is a micro-interactive festival of drama, theatre, performing arts and plays. Our live plays can be performed in intimate spaces such as café’s, small art galleries, hotel lobbies and boutique wine bars. The venue is the stage. The audience is aware that the play will be performed while they are at the venue. Each play begins spontaneously with an actor addressing the audience who may at that moment be otherwise engaged: reading a book, talking with friends, eating or drinking. A single person narrative draws in the audience and from the very beginning the story unfolds. Other actors might enter the venue, may already be sitting at a table, or perhaps they’ve served your dinner this evening…

Green Gorilla Theatre brings theatre to new audiences in new venues across the United Kingdom. The idea came from a trip to New York and watching fringe micro theatre festivals held in unusual places such as a bookstore or hotel lobby. This form of theatre is called micro-interactive and it very popular in the States and Europe. However it has yet to take off in the United Kingdom.

Green Gorilla Theatre is a micro-drama high quality interactive theatre where less can be more!
